About Us

Hamilton Self Storage was established in 2000, by a local removalist company, after seeing the demand for this type of storage in the local area. A suitable block of land with main highway frontage was sourced and the first block of 20 storage units was built. Over the next 6 years the facility went through a number of expansions before the facility was sold to the current owner in 2006. Since then there have been a number of changes to the facility including another expansion in 2008.

Hamilton Self Storage is now a dedicated stand alone storage facility with no ties to a removalist company so you need not feel embarrassed about moving house yourself, let’s face it everybody wants to save money wherever they can these days, (although we can arrange a removalist to contact you; just one of our many services we can offer you). We offer all the necessary services you need should you wish to move house yourself, we can supply all your boxes and packaging needs, trailer hire and insurance on your goods whilst in storage.

As well as storage, Hamilton Self Storage has 6 sizes of trailers for hire. From a small 7’ X 5’ cage trailer to the extra large enclosed furniture trailer at 12’ X 6’6” and 6’ high, 10’ X 5’ tandem trailer, car trailer. There is something here to help you move. For new storers, we offer a courtesy move in trailer hire for any of our trailers.

Of course you don’t need to be storing anything at Hamilton Self Storage to hire any of the trailers; they are available to the public 7 days of the week by booking.

Hamilton Self Storage is also ideal for all your document and data storage. Whether it is general documents, archiving, accounting records, a self storage unit is your safe and secure storage solution option. Some documentation need to be kept for a number of years and when office space is at a premium, why clutter it up when you can store all these documents in the one place. Once again access is the key, while you might not need these documents every day, you have the peace of mind of knowing that whenever you want them, you can access them at your leisure during our facility access hours
